Arsenal are set to miss out on one of their striker targets as Queens Park Rangers man Loic Remy could be on his way to Germany in order to join champions Bayern Munich in a deal worth ÂŁ15million.

The Frenchman, who is currently on-loan at Newcastle United, is desperate to play Champions League football once again and has been linked with a switch to Arsenal in the Summer, but reports have broken today that Munich are keen to wrap up a deal as soon as possible for the frontman.

Remy is planning on leaving QPR permanently in the Summer whether they get promoted to the Premier League or not, and Harry Redknapp’s side will be desperate to sell him in order to free up some wage-bill, so it’s believed if a ÂŁ15million offer comes in for the Frenchman, it will be accepted.

The 27-year-old would join the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Mario Mandzukic at the club if he was to join them, but also has admirers in Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham.
