Thomas Lemar has today been spotted posing for pictures with an Arsenal fan, sending Twitter into overdrive and the transfer rumour mill into a frenzy.
The Monaco star has been linked with a move to the Gunners this summer, with the club already reportedly having a bid rejected for the star.
Arsene Wenger is determined to bring the youngster to England but his current club are asking for huge amounts of money to sign him.
The player lit up Ligue 1 with Monaco last season, as they won the league. Several key players in that side have been linked with big-money moves to teams across Europe this summer and it seems the Gunners are desperate to be the ones to land Lemar.
Now, after being spotted with an Arsenal fan, it has sparked fresh rumours that, despite Monaco claiming they wouldn’t sell and despite the big asking price, he could end up with the club.

The player apparently was all too happy to pose for a picture with an Arsenal fan (wearing an Arsenal kit to boot) and then when quizzed by the fan about a move to England, he simply ‘smiled.’
This, of course, isn’t proof that a move is happening or anything of the sort. The player likely posed for a picture to please a fan, as most players would. However, as these things always tend to do, like with Pogba last year, the rumour mill has now been sent into overdrive once again.
Arsene Wenger is likely to launch another move for the player during this summer transfer window, so we’ll have to see whether or not the Frenchman can pull off a deal for the 21-year old or not.
This seems like concrete proof of a move anyway, so, to be fair, all we need to do now is sit and wait for the official Twitter announcement…
