Arsenal are heavily tipped to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, in January with the Spaniard still interested in a move away from the Bernabeu.
The Gunners were heavily linked with the Spaniard over the Summer due to Diego Lopez taking Casillas’ number-one spot in Madrid, but after signing David Ospina from Nice, and Lopez joining AC Milan, the veteran stayed on in Spain and is now back to playing regular first-team football.
However, according to reports in Spain, Casillas is still considering an exit from Madrid and a change of scenary to end his career, and it’s believed Arsenal are in pole position to land the 33-year-old.
It’s believed that AS Monaco are also showing interest in the Spaniard, but a move to the Premier League could be the ideal way for Casillas to end his decorated career.
