If Arsenal want to sign Diego Costa in the January transfer window then it may cost them £32mil. The Gunners have been looking for a new striker to help out Olivier Giroud the club have been linked with Costa. As the Brazilian continues to score in the La Liga he is attracting more and more attention from more and more clubs. The Striker is on great form as he has scored 22 goals already this season.
Diego Costa tried to end the rumours by signing a new contract with Atletico Madrid however he continues to be rumoured a move away from the Spanish side. This contract has a £32mil release clause in it which is well within Arsene Wenger’s transfer budget. Although it seems straight forward signing him on this clause, Wenger is being cautious after failing to sign Luis Suarez trying to use a similar clause to his advantage.
