Arsenal are targeting Chile international midfielder Charles Aranguiz, in a £4.4 million bid.
Reports from South America suggest that Wenger is keen on signing Aranguiz, who starred with Gunners’ forward Alexis Sanchez in Chile’s 2014 World Cup campaign.
Numerous scouts have been keeping tabs on Aranguiz since Brazil, and Arsene Wenger is one who has been impressed by what he’s seen.
The 25 year old committed his future to current club Internacional last July, but a Chilean newspaper says that Arsenal are keen to lure him to the Emirates.
