Arsenal are preparing a £17 million bid for Napoli starlet Lorenzo Insigne. Manager Arsene Wenger is very keen on signing the Italian winger as he looks for reinforcements on the attacking front. Wenger had reportedly told his scouts to keep a close-eye on the 23-year-old as the youngster continues to develop. Insigne is expected to be a key player in the Italy’s squad that will face England, Costa Rica and Uruguay at the World Cup.
If the winger impresses at the World Cup, then Arsenal will be willing to splash out a £17 million bid for the Napoli ace, with Wenger assertive that it’ll be enough to land him.
Wenger has already been handed positive reports about the 23-year-old from representatives of Arsenal who have already watched the winger play for his current club Napoli. According to some reports, Napoli will be happy to sell the Italian starlet for the right fee.
