Arsenal are ready to make a move for Bayer Leverkusen star, Hakan Calhanoglu, and will offer Lukas Podolski as part of the deal.
The German international is currently out on loan at Inter Milan, but after it was revealed that the Italian side won’t be making his temporary deal a permanent one, Podolski’s future is uncertain.
The World Cup winner will return to England in the Summer and will reunite with the Arsenal squad, but according to reports, Arsene Wenger doesn’t see him back in his first-team plans and will try to move him on as soon as possible.
According to reports, Arsenal have been monitoring Calhanoglu for months now and could be tempted into making a formal move for the midfielder at the end of the season.
If any formal move is launched, it’s believed The Gunners would offer Podolski in exchange.
Leverkusen value the midfield star at around £19.9million.
