Arsenal are set to complete the £12 million deal of Sami Khedira from Real Madrid next week, reports the Metro.
The Gunners have been keen of the World Cup winning midfielder all summer, and Spanish press claim that Khedira is to leave Real Madrid.
The revelations put Arsenal ahead of Chelsea in the race for the 27 year old.
Arsene Wenger is set to confirm the deal in the coming days, with a fee approved by Real Madrid, with Khedira surplus to requierments at the La Liga club.
