Arsene Wenger is happy to see him go
Arsenal could be set to sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain over the summer after Arsene Wenger reportedly green-lighted the transfer.
The England international has been struggled for form so far this season, but it looks like his campaign could be over now after suffering a serious knee injury.
Despite it ruling him out for seven weeks, it’s looking unlikely that he will play again this season for the Gunners and it also means he could miss the European Championships in the summer.
Chamberlain is reportedly considering his future away from Emirates Stadium after failing to break into the first-team on a regular basis and this season has seen Joel Campbell move ahead of him in the pecking order.
Arsenal Ready to Sell
With a few teams reportedly interested in signing him, including Chelsea and West Ham United, Wenger is ready to sell him in the summer in order for him to get first-team football.
According to reports, Arsenal will listen to offers for the 22-year-old and could look to sell at the end of the season, ending his long-term association with the club.
It’s believed the North London club want at least £15million for the winger.
