Real Madrid want £25million for the Spaniard

Arsenal have been told by Real Madrid that attacking-midfielder Isco will cost them around £25million, according to reports.

The Spanish international has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in recent months due to the lack of game-time, and it’s widely believed Arsenal are a team interested in signing him.

The Gunners are preparing for a midfield overhaul in the summer, with the likes of Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky all leaving at the end of their contracts.

As well as the trio leaving, Santi Cazorla becomes another year old, and Isco is seen as a perfect long-term replacement.

Premier League Interest

Isco has considered leaving Madrid for some time now due to the lack of first-team football, and it’s believed a move to the Premier League is his favoured preference.

Manchester City have also been linked with signing the midfielder due to Manuel Pellegrini working with the Spaniard during their days together at Malaga.

According to reports in Spain, Arsenal have been told that the 23-year-old would cost them around £25m, which has given them encouragement to renew their interest.
