Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has warned current Champions League holders Bayern Munich that Arsenal will be a very different team to the one that was knocked out in the same fixture last season.

The two sides meet at the Emirates on Wednesday night, both teams doing execptionally well in their leagues with Arsenal a point off from the top of the Premier Leaugue.

Flamini is confident his side will be completley different to the side that was knocked out by the Germans 3-1, who went on to beat Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley.

‘I think it has been a more improved team effort this season,’ said Flamini to sources.

‘It’s making all the difference. The players are putting in the necessary effort and everyone is fighting for each other. Arsenal this year know the difference between winning and losing, it is very fine.

‘It’s up to us to prove we have what it takes to win the title domestically. We are trying to stay focused now that we have the opportunity to win titles after so long.’
