Arsenal have started to put together a stunning deal to sign Edinson Cavani in January. The Gunners have approached the striker in the past, most recently being over the summer.
Arsene Wenger did table a bid for the Uruguay international, only to have it turned down by PSG. However, Wenger is once again planning a bid and this time he’s prepared to go all out to sign him.
According to various reports this week, the Arsenal boss sanctioned a move this week and now Arsenal officials are working to put together a deal which would finally see the forward move to the Emirates Stadium.
The deal could be worth an astonishing £55m, which would make him the club’s most expensive purchase ever, but he could be worth it for the Gunners if he joined and started firing in the goals for the North London-based club.
