Arsene Wenger has refuted claims that he would be replacing AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso.

The veteran manager is currently jobless since he left his position at Arsenal this summer. Unai Emery replaced him at the North London club and seems to be doing a wonderful job so far.

Reports suggested Wenger emerged as a candidate to be the next manager of Milan. Milan had a pretty nervy start to their current campaign but the Italian giants have managed to steady their ship with some improvement display on the pitch off late.

Currently, they are in the fourth position in the Serie-A and as of now, Gattuso’s future looks secure.

Wenger did show his intentions in returning back to football somewhere at the start of the next year. “Certainly at the beginning of 2019.

“At the moment I’m having a good rest and I watch football a lot

“I’m here at Wembley where I played many games and have good memories, and of course you miss that.”

But the former Arsenal gaffer rejected speculations of him managing the Italian club in near future. “The only thing I can say is, it’s fake news. If I signed somewhere I would tell you. It’s wrong,

“I cannot master the rumours, I can only master what I do in my life. That’s wrong as well.”
