Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has confirmed there is interest for Crystal Palace wonderkid, Wilfried Zaha, despite him having a £20m price-tag on his head.

Former assistant manager, Pat Rice, who still works for the club, and chief scout, Steve Rowley, have both been to watch the Palace winger and have given Wenger positive feedback about the player.

Arsenal are reported to make a £9m bid for the player in January, but that is expected to be turned down by Palace chairman, Steve Parish as he is not willing to lose his prize-asset without a fight.

When asked specifically about his interest in Zaha on Tuesday morning, Wenger said: ‘We are looking at every player who could strengthen our squad – but he is not more on the list than anyone else.’

There is a lot of interest for the Crystal Palace star-player and Arsenal will face serious competition from teams like; Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.
