Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remained coy on transfer talks linking the club with Raheem Sterling.
The Gunners will come up against the winger on Saturday when Liverpool travel to the Emirates Stadium and during his press conference, the Frenchman was asked about the club’s possible interest in Sterling.
However, Wenger refused to comment on the speculation and wouldn’t give anything away regarding his interest in the 20-year-old.
‘Sterling is a top player, but I don’t want to get involved in that 48 hours before a game.’
The Liverpool winger has been strongly linked with a move away from Anfield after snubbing contract offers from the club, but he himself has insisted that talks will continue at the end of the season during the Summer.
Sterling insisted that the decision is not based on money but based on challenging for trophies.
