According to reports, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, has already held talks with FC Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez and his representatives.
The Chilean is reportedly on his way out of the Nou Camp this Summer, and has been monited closely by Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United, but with Wenger out in Brazil working as a pundit for French TV, he has been able to hold formal talks with Sanchez’s agent, as he leads the race to sign the 25-year-old.
Reports in Spain are suggesting that Barca are willing to cash in on the winger, and are already gaining interest from several Premier League sides, and also Italian champions Juventus, who have reportedly had an £18million bid turned down already.
Wenger has reportedly been told by Arsenal’s board to choose from either Mario Balotelli or Sanchez, but the Frenchman is keen to sign both as he desperately wants a striker and also a winger to add depth to his side.
