Arsene Wenger not ruling out United just yet

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes it is too early to rule out David Moyes’ Manchester United of the title race just yet, despite them being nine points behind the league leaders.

The Red Devils are currently eighth in the league after their 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane with Tottenham Hotspur, trailing Wenger’s side by the nine points, and the majority of bookmakers have already ruled the title race as a three-horse race involving Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.

However, The Gunners boss believes it is foolish to ever rule out Manchester United.

“The bookies have an opinion that you can understand because they just look at the table,” he said. “I wouldn’t rule some other teams out like Manchester United. It’s a bit early to make any prediction on the championship.”
