Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is once again being linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United looking to rekindle their interest in the Chilean.
Vidal was constantly linked with a move to Louis Van Gaal’s side this summer, with United eventually opting to sign Daley Blind to fill the defensive midfield role instead.
However, reports are emerging that both Vidal and Kevin Strootman of Roma are next on Van Gaal’s wishlist, despite neither side entertaining any offers for the duo this summer.
Former Udinese midfielder Vidal could be the most likely of the two to ply his trade at Old Trafford, with Roma categorically denying any suggestion of selling Strootman to any interested parties.
“Kevin Strootman is not for sale and has never been discussed in that vein at Roma. They are wasting paper.” Said Roma sporting director Mauro Baldissoni to Sky Italia.
“We consider Kevin an integral, highly valued partner in our long-term plans.”
