Manchester United manager has revealed that he cannot stop winger Ashley Young from diving and has also admitted that the Englishman may do it again in the future.

Moyes slated Young after United’s 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the weekend after the winger got booked for diving in the first-half and also went down easily in order to win a penalty and get a Palace player sent off.

The former-Everton boss said that he doesn’t support what Young did and admitted that he will speak to the player, but ahead of their Champions League tie with Bayer Leverkusen, Moyes has revealed that he cannot stop the player from diving.

Moyes said: ‘I can never be sure that it won’t happen again. I’ve had a word privately. I have always said that it is something we should have retrospective video action for. That would help the referees no end. It is really difficult for referees.

‘We can make up all the things we like for punishments but referees have rules that they have to abide by and the referee on Saturday did what he had to do and gave him a yellow card. My views on this don’t change from being Everton  manager to Manchester Utd. The referee got the decision correct and called it right. He gave him the punishment.’
