Goalkeeper already wants out of Stamford Bridge

Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is reportedly keen on leaving the club after failing to cement his place in the first-team.

The Bosnian only arrived at Stamford Bridge over the summer as a replacement for Arsenal-bound Petr Cech, and although the club paid ÂŁ8million for him and offered him a four-year contract, he already wants to leave.

Begovic was mainly signed as a backup for Thibaut Courtois, but after the Belgian suffered a serious injury during the early stages of the season, the former-Stoke City ‘keeper was pushed into the first-team and made 20 appearances for the Blues.

However, as soon as Courtois returned to full-fitness, he returned to the first-team and pushed Begovic back down to the bench.

Begovic Wants Out

According to reports, Begovic is already unhappy at Chelsea and is already seeking a move away from the club due to the lack of game-time.

Begovic could be one of several heading for the exit doors over the summer, with John Terry, Gary Cahill, Oscar, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa all linked with moves away as well.
