Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Arsenal midfielder, Santi Cazorla, in the Summer, according to Spanish expert, Guillem Balague.
Reports emerged yesterday that a deal has already been arranged between the two clubs for the end of the season, but it seems like those reports are false, but Balague has confirmed that Atletico are keen to sign him.
Cazorla has been superb for Arsenal in recent weeks, but with only 18-months left on his contract, The Gunners could choose to cash in on him over the Summer, and Balague expects the La Liga champions to make a formal move.
He told Sky Sports: ‘He has 18 months left on his contract at Arsenal, and Atletico have contacted Cazorla’s entourage.’
‘Atletico are convinced that they can persuade the player to join them. Then they just have to pay the money.
‘There will be one year left on his contract in the summer, and will be available for cheaper.’
