Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera is an apparent target for Atletico Madrid, according to the press in both Spain and Turkey.
The highly rated shot stopper has been one of Galatasaray’s stand out performers since signing from Lazio in 2011, and could be the subject of a bid from Spanish champions Atletico.
La Liga winners Madrid are keen to bring in a new first choice goalkeeper after Jose Mourinho confirmed that Thilbalt Courtois will return to Chelsea following the end of his loan spell.
Galatasaray president Unal Aysal stated that he believes the club would consider an offer for the keeper, if the price was right.
“I hope Muslera stays at Galatasaray for a long time but if we get a high offer we may consider it,” Aysal said.
Muslera, aged 29 kept 11 clean sheets last season in 29 appearances as Galatasaray finished runners up to Fenerbache.
