According to El Gol Digital, Atletico Madrid are keen to sign Chelsea full back Marcos Alonso
Alonso’s long term future at Stamford Bridge is not guaranteed even though he’s the club’s first choice left wing back.
Manager Antonio Conte has reportedly been trying to sign Juventus’s Alex Sandro since the end of last season, however, Juventus have stood their ground in their determination to keep the Brazilian.
The winger was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the summer and it seems Atletico may want Alonso and/or David Luiz in a part exchange deal for the Belgian international.
The Spanish club are looking for a long term replacement for Felipe and see the former Fiorentina defender as the ideal player. It is reported that Atletico may take advantage of Chelsea’s interest in Yannick Carrasco to sign Alonso.
