Augsburg defender on the brink of Stamford Bridge move
Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Baba Rahman from Augsburg after the left-back successfully complete a medical in West London.
The Blues have been after the defender for the past few weeks in order to replace Filipe Luis, who rejoined Atletico Madrid earlier in the summer.
Luis leaving Chelsea left them with just Cesar Azpilicueta as an option for the full-back role, but now Rahman is on the brink of completing his transfer.
Defender Close to Move
Jose Mourinho made it clear that he wanted to add a defender to his squad, and it looks like Rahman is the man for him with £21million being the fee agreed between the two clubs.
German football journalist Christian Falk revealed on the Twitter yesterday that the 21-year-old had successfully passed his medical ahead of the proposed move.
