Ryan Giggs has urged Bale not to leave Real Madrid
Gareth Bale has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer. According to reports, he is not happy at Madrid after being reduced to bench and wants to move back to England with likes of Manchester United And his former club Tottenham are also interested.
Bale joined Real Madrid from Spurs in 2013 for a world record transfer fee of £85.1 million which made him the world’s most expensive player that time.
But Wales newly appointed manager, Ryan Giggs believes his countryman should remain at Real Madrid beyond the summer and snub interest from United.Asked whether Real remains the best place for him, Giggs said-
“It’s Real Madrid– there are only a handful of clubs who have got that aura,” Giggs said. “Of course you would want to stay there. What’s Gareth won, three Champions League titles? The proof is in that. When you are at clubs like that, you are always going to win things. Gareth has the ability to score every type of goal and there are similarities with Cristiano Ronaldo. They both started out as wingers and they are now goalscorers.”
Bale recently became his Country’s leading goalscorer in 6-0 win over China where he scored a hat-trick.It was also Giggs first game as manager of Wales since his appointment in January.Asked where he could get better as a manager, Giggs said-
“I am not a naturally outgoing person. Everything just comes with that little bit of experience.”
Wales will face Uruguay in the China Cup final here on Monday. Uruguay beat the Czech Republic 2-0 on Friday with goals from Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani.
