Barcelona and Brazil defender Dani Alves believes that his club are still far from the finished article and have much to improve on going forward.
Speaking after an impressive 4-0 win over Ajax in the Camp Nou, Dani Alves revealed to Barca TV that, “We are still in transition as we seek our best version.”
“What we are doing is not so different but we are introducing new things to counter teams which just come to defend and also looking into ideas for creating more goalscoring chances.”
The player also hailed Neymar’s addition to the squad saying “Neymar is modest even though he’s one of the best. He is still learning and trying to improve.”
Barcelona maintained their 100% start to La Liga with a last gasp 3-2 victory over Sevilla at the weekend with Alves himself getting on the scoresheet.
