Bernardo Silva has played an exceptionally good season. The Manchester City midfielder come winger has been the stand out performer for the Citizens.
Starting from being in the PFA Player of the Year nominees for the Premier League, to playing well in the Champions League, helping Manchester City to the finals of the FA Cup and winning the League Cup for the Citizens Silva has been in the heart of it well.
Since joining Manchester City last season, it has not been easy for him to adjust to the league. He was shunned out by Kevin De Bruyne for most of the season. However, things have changed this season and he is the main man at the Etihad. This has led to rumours surfacing that the player is in high demand and could be on his way to Barcelona.
However, when asked about speculation linking him with a move to the Nou Camp, the 24-year-old told Portuguese newspaper Record: “I do not think about it. I just renewed my contract with Manchester City, and after this season I have another three years of my contract. I am very happy in Manchester.”
