Barcelona are interested in signing Willian, especially after learning that Manchester United are keeping tabs on him too, according to reports.
Barcelona are readying to launch a bid for the Brazilian star Willian after learning of Manchester United’s interest.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claim that Barcelona are on the verge of making their interest official to Chelsea as the Brazilian star would be a cheaper alternative to Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.
Manchester United are also lurking with manager Jose Mourinho said to be very eager to land his former Chelsea player.
Willian has been in excellent form lately and impressed against Barcelona in both of their Champions league legs with Chelsea.
Willian hit the woodwork three times in the first leg and was unlucky to not have grabbed a hatrick. But Willian did end up scoring and was also impressive in the return leg at the Nou Camp.
Chelsea will be eager to keep hold of their star though especially after his fine form so far. Although doubts remain as to whether Antonio Conte will stay on as Chelsea coach next season which leaves a lot of players’ futures potentially in the air.
The 29-year-old has scored 14 goals and made seven assists in all competitions so far this season.
