Barcelona are plotting a move to bring Juan Mata to Nou Camp on a free transfer.

The Manchester United ace is out of contract at the end of the season.

According to Metro, Barcelona are looking to bring Manchester United ace Juan Mata to Nou Camp on a free transfer next summer. The midfielder is set to go out of contract in the next season and has not been offered a new one as of yet by the Red Devils.

The Blaugrana have shown interest in older players in the last few transfer windows and have brought in the likes of Arturo Vidal and Kevin Prince-Boateng into the side. Though they have been brought in as backups for the regular starters, the veterans have done well to lead the side to victories and have played an important role in keeping the side at the top of the league table in La Liga. If they bring in Mata in the next summer transfer window, it is to be seen whether he would be a good signing for the Blaugrana or not.
