Barcelona are ready for a mass clean out at the Nou Camp this summer, with a number of big names being placed on the transfer list. The Catalan giants are prepared to let go of some of their top players at the end of the season, with Cesc Fabregas, Dani Alves, Alexis Sanchez, Javier Mascherano and Alex Song all up for sale.
Barca were originally banned from taking part in this summer’s transfer window but that ban has now been suspended and they will look to make the most of the time that they have. This season hasn’t been the greatest for the Spanish giants, with an early exit in the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid and no La Liga win as of yet for the club as they currently sit in second place.
Now, they are ready to clear out unwanted players so that they can improve on this seasons substandard performance. Alex Song has not impressed in Spain and Alexis Sanchez is not needed or wanted by Barca, despite weighing in with a number of goals for them this season.
Dani Alves has been at the club for six years but it appears his time for them is over. Javier Mascherano and Cesc Fabregas, despite also featuring a number of times this season for the Catalans, are both able to leave too.
