Barcelona preparing massive move for Marco Reus

Barcelona are preparing a sensational move to beat Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United to the signing of Marco Reus, as they prepare for their transfer ban to come into effect in January. The Spanish giants have today been told that their appeal against a one-year transfer ban has been rejected, although the ban will only begin in January.

Barca are already preparing to appeal again, but they are now plotting several big transfers and bids, in case the ban does end up sticking. Reports in Spain are claiming that the biggest transfer that they are planning is one for Marco Reus. It has been suggested that the Catalan giants will agree to meet Dortmund’s asking price for the German international and then loan him back to the Bundesliga for a season.

A clause in the 25-year old’s contract also states that he can leave for just ÂŁ20m next summer and therefore they would rather sell him on for more cash this year. However, any bid will have to be quite large, unique and compelling, as it was revealed that Reus turned down a move to Man United earlier this summer.

It now remains to be seen whether Barca can land the winger this month, or whether Arsenal, Liverpool or Man United will end up with his signature.
