Barcelona star joins Inter Milan on loan
Rafinha has joined Inter Milan until the end of the season on loan from Barcelona. The Serie A side has the option of signing him on a permanent basis for €35m and €3m in variables.
A statement on the official Inter Milan website read: “FC Internazionale Milano and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Rafinha until June 30th, 2018. FC Internazionale Milano has an option to purchase the player for €35 million plus €3 million in variables, which must be confirmed before the finalisation of the current season”.
The 24-year-old had been out of the game for a long time, having injured his knee in April last year that kept him out of action for the rest of the calendar year. He returned as a substitute during Barcelona’s clash against Espanyol in the Copa Del Rey.
“I’m really happy, it’s a great feeling to be here. It’s an important stage in my life and I had a lot of desire to approach this new phase in my career,” Rafinha told the Inter Milan site.
Barcelona are looking for buyers for star, but nobody is calling.
