Barcelona to loan Colombian youngster Yerry Mina to the Reds.
Spanish giants reportedly want to loan out Colombian youngster Yerry Mina to Liverpool.
The 23 year-old joined the Catalans from Palmeiras for £10 million in January, after taking up an option they had agreed with the Brazilian side. But he has struggled to make an impression on Barcelona boss Erneste Valverde, making just five appearances in total.
Recently, Ignacio Miguelez revealed:
“There is one player whose future for next season is clear, and that is Yerry Mina.
“The Colombian will spend the season on loan at Liverpool.”
It is understood signing the defender was never Valverde’s choice and he boss believes he needs more time to adapt to European football.
Liverpool’s defence has already been bolstered by January signing Virgil Van Dijk and the Reds are in the market to find an improved partner for the Dutchman.
