French outlet L’Equipe has said that Barcelona are set to make another move for Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman was linked with a move to the Catalan club last season but he eventually declined it to stay back at Atletico Madrid.
French news outlet L’Equipe has insisted that Barcelona might make a move for Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann. The player was linked with a move to the Nou Camp last season but he eventually decided to stay put at the Madrid club. However, the interest from the Catalan giants has seemingly not faded away as they are ready to make a move for the French World Cup winning star once again.
Atletico were defeated by Juventus in their Champions League clash, which saw them crashing out of the tournament even after taking a 2-0 lead in the first leg of the matchup. This reportedly has not gone down well with the Frenchman, who seems to be considering his future at the club and might look to make a move out of Wanda Metropolitano in the near future. As per reports, Barcelona are looking to capitalise on this and bring Griezmann to Nou Camp to add to their firepower. With both Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele not being able to live up to the expectations since their arrival at the club, there is strong reasoning for the Blaugrana to chase their long term target and get him to sign on the dotted lines without much ado.
