Despite being contracted with Atletico until 2022, the France International has been heavily linked with a exit from the club. Manchester United were interested him for a long time last season but decided to sign Romelu Lukaku instead last summer.

The French Star has been heavily linked with a move to rivals Barcelona this summer with reports claiming that they are ready to pay his £88 million release clause.

But in recent weeks Atletico Madrid have expressed their fury with Catalan giants over their public pursuit of the Forward. Club’s President Josep Maria Bartomeu and Luis Suarez have given strong hint that Griezmann will join them in the summer which has angered Diego Simeone’s side.
