Arsenal have completed signing of midfielder, according to team-mate
Arsenal have completed the signing of FC Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny, according to one of the Swiss club’s players.
The Basel striker took to his official Facebook account to wish Elneny luck for his career in North London, basically confirming the deal was happening.
Arsenal‘s Olivier Giroud all-but let the news slip as well in a recent interview, claiming the club were close to signing an Egyptian midfielder, and it now looks like the deal is officially done.

Albian Ajeti is the Basel player that has confirmed the deal as his posted: ‘I’m happy for you Mohamed El Nenny success in Arsenal.’
Elneny has successfully completed a medical with the Premier League club and the two teams have also agreed on a transfer fee, believed to be around £5million.
