Bayern Munich agree terms with Marc Roca

According to reports, Bayern Munich are interested in signing Marc Roca from Spanish outfit Espanyol this summer. The 22-year-old’s impressive U21 campaign with Spain has raised the eyebrows of a number of European heavyweights, with the Bavarians being one of the lot.

However, the transfer fee for the player is proving to be a major stumbling block in the deal. With Roca’s deal set to expire in 2022, Espanyol are holding him out for €40m – an asking price the Bavarians are apparently reluctant to meet. The player is said to have agreed on personal terms with the German champions.

Roca has become an integral player in the Espanyol setup and Bayern boss Niko Kovac is hoping that Espanyol agree to sell the Spaniard for a lower fee.
