Bayern Munich CEO Uli Hoeness has once again come in criticism of former Germany international Mesut Ozil. Last month following Ozil’s retirement, Hoeness slammed the Arsenal winger, saying that he had “played s*** for years”. And now, the former Germany international has once again criticized Ozil.

Hoeness said, “I’ve been watching the player for a long time and he’s a well-marketed product whose image is a lot better than he is, which is the only big blame for me. Had [Germany coach Joachim] Low gone to Arsenal more often in London and looked at him properly, he probably would not have taken him for sporting reasons. It is a miracle that he is now captain at Arsenal.”

Ozil hasn’t put on a good show in the Premier League so far. However, he will be hoping to give a strong performances when Arsenal face West Ham on Saturday.
