The Bundesliga giants have denied rumours of a possible deal for Arturo Vidal

Bayern’s CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has insisted there is no agreement to sign the Juventus midfielder.

Yesterday, reports emerged claiming Bayern had agreed a £28million fee for the Chile international after Bastian Schweinsteiger departed for Manchester United earlier in the week.

However, Rummenigge has moved quickly to deny any deal regarding the Chile international which will please Arsenal, another club heavily linked with Vidal.

“I still can’t confirm anything with Vidal, we have to wait. We’ll definitely make a move before the close of the transfer market” said Rummenigge.

Premier League interest

A number of English clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in Vidal with United having already tried to sign the South American last summer.

However, Arsenal might be leading the race after United manager Louis Van Gaal added Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to his squad ahead of their pre-season tour in the US.

Juventus identify Vidal replacement

The Old Lady are keen on bringing Chelsea’s Oscar to Turin this summer and are reportedly planning a third bid for the Brazil international.

Chelsea are reluctant to sell the 23-year-old and have already turned down two offers from Juventus, the latter believed to be around £19.8million.

The Blues manager Jose Mourinho values Oscar as a player with massive potential and has reportedly said he will do everything to keep hold of the former Internacional man.
