Bayern Munich could be without winger Kingsley Coman for their Champions League clash against Liverpool on Tuesday. Coman started Bayern’s match against Augsburg last night and produced one of the finest performances in a Bayern shirt, scoring Bayern’s first two goals and providing the assist for the third.
However, he went down in the final minutes of the game and Bayern had to play stoppage time with 10 men. Coman received treatment from Bayern’s medical stuff on the sidelines but not before he limped off the field.
Bayern Munich are already without Thomas Muller for the Liverpool match due to suspension while Arjen Robben is injured. Provided Coman’s not fit enough to play Liverpool on Tuesday, it will be a major blow for the Bavarians. In that case, Bayern may have to use James Rodriguez or Franck Ribery.
Bayern will travel to Anfield to play their first match against Liverpool since the 2001 UEFA Super Cup Final.
