Four other European giants are also interested in him

Anthony Martial joined Manchester United from Monaco for £36 million, potentially rising to £58 million, on a four-year contract with the option of another year in 2015. Since then he has been an integral part of the team and is considered one of the best young talents in the world.

The France International started last season off brightly and was regular during the first half of the season under Jose Mourinho. But since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window from Arsenal, he found minutes harder to come by and has started only 6 games since the Chilean joined.

He still managed to score 11 goals and provided 7 assists in all competitions. He was also awarded the United’s Player of the month 3 times.

It is believed that the 22 year old is frustrated with the lack of game and could look for a summer exit in order for more first team football. He also missed out on  a place in France World Cup squad which further intensified the speculations.

His representative added fire to the speculations last month by claiming that his client wants to leave this summer after waiting for a contract extension for a long time. Though the player is yet to to say anything about that. He still has a year left on his contract with the option to extend further by 1 year.

Bayern Munich are the latest side to join the race to sign wantaway United attacker Anthony Martial, the Daily Star claims.

Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben just extended their contracts for another year with the Bundesliga giants but they are close to the end of their careers. They consider the Frenchman as their potential successor due to his versatility, as he can play anywhere across the front-line.

But the German side could face competition from Chelsea, Tottenham, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain who all are monitoring his situation.
