Despite his 12 week injury Ben Foster feels he is capable of a spot in Roy Hodgsons World Cup squad. Foster is determined to be at the 2014 World Cup. The 30 year old thinks he’ll get a spot despite the fact that he hasn’t played for England under Roy Hodgson. The goalkeepr has got 6 caps and has been out of club football for a while. The West Brom player feels he’s got a lot to do though such as get back in to the line up and improve on fitness whilst keeping his form up to Hodgson’s standard.

When England qualified for Brazil he wasn’t thinking about it he was just thinking about regaining his fitness. Even though there is fierce competition Foster thinks now is the time to shine as the only really competitors are Joe Hart who is currently on poor form and not even playing at club level and then Fraser Forster who is on hot form & may battle for a spot at the World Cup. Forster may be on good form but the Baggies keeper still considers Joe Hart as his main competition and he feels that Hart’s abilities shouldn’t be in question and that his mistakes are due to the pressure of being the only option for his country in goal.
