Roma defender Mehdi Benatia has missed training with the club, adding further fuel to the fire regarding his future, claim reports in Italy.
The 27 year old is a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United, who are both preparing £30 million bids for the player.
Bayern Munich are also keen on the Morrocan international.
Italian Sports Journalist Tancredi Palmeri broke the news that the player did not train with the Serie A side on Monday, with the new League season starting in just under a weeks time.
‘Benatia didn’t train with Roma today,’ Palmeri said on Twitter.
Chelsea look the favourites to land Benatia, after it emerged that Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Sporting Lison fullback Marco Rojo.
