The French Defender has been linked to a possible move to Manchester United and Arsenal

Benjamin Pavard has been in some good form in the ongoing World Cup in Russia. With 80% pass accuracy and a goal for the French side putting him in the transfer window for some big clubs.

The 22-year olf defender from VfB Stuttgart has been linked for a possible move to big clubs like Mancheste United and Arsenal. He is also linked to Spanish giants like Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In his recent interview with Goal, the defender admitted that he dreams of playing for big club like Real Madrid and Barcelona. He said, “I am in Stuttgart, I have a contract. There is an end of season to manage, the best position to secure, the national team too. We’ll see what happens in the future.”

He added that,“Whether I play right, left or as a centre-back, for me it’s a little bit the same. A defender must first defend well. When you look at the Bundesliga you often only see Bayern or Dortmund. Stuttgart, of course, it’s less of a dream. But for me, it’s a very good club. The stadium is full every week. It is 60,000 fans. In the second division, it was 55,000. For me, and I also think for my team-mates, that is great.”

Benjamin Pavard sensational strike against Argentina which resulted in Lionel Messi side being kocked out of the World Cup has been one of reason resulting in his demand  being high.  He also became the first French defender to score a goal in the World Cup since Lilian Thuram scored against Croatia in the 1998 semifinal.

Playing for Stuttgart, the defender has scored twice from the 81 appearances he mad for the club.

Pavard’s value has risen all time high with his recent success with the French Team in the ongoing World cup and he wont come cheap. He will be available for €35 million (ÂŁ31m/$41m) in 2019 due to a release clause in his contract.

Pavard will be on field when France will take on Uruguay for a berth in the Semi-Finals of the ongoing World cup on Friday.
