The 19 year-old attacker has had playing time limited because of the reintergration of Bafetimbi Gomis and Jimmy Briand, and this has not pleased the youngster. And due to Lyon’s poor league performances, leaving them 10th going into the new year, Benzia may be on his way out.
According to Eurosport France, the young Frenchman is being persued by fellow Ligue 1 sides Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nantes and Stade Rennais. Benzia would work well with fellow Ligue 1 stars Remy Cabella, Cheikh Diabate and Jonathan Pitroipa.
And in just 4 starts for the Stade Gerland side, he has still managed 2 goals and provided 2 assissts, so the U21 international will be keen to leave in order to improve and gain recognition from the full national squad.
