Bernardo Silva is confident Manchester City’s squad depth will be of much help in their long run.
City defeat Wolves to cut back the gap to four points with Liverpool who are topping the league table currently. The defending champions have had a number of injury concerns in recent past with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho and Sergio Aguero all spent times on sidelines this season.
De Bruyne especially had missed a prolonged part of the current season and has returned recently to boost their chances of retaining the Premier League title. Benjamin Mendy has been recuperating from a serious knee injury and is expected to join the team at the end of this month.
Silva said, “It feels like we have all the squad, which is important because we need all of them.
“It is good finally to be back together.
“Of course until this moment of the season we have had so many injured players, we never played with the whole squad.
“To have almost the whole squad available is fantastic for us and it is very good to try and go for all the competitions.”
“You have fantastic players in your position, you have to work hard to try and play as many minutes as you can.
“That is a good thing. It means you have a good squad. Everyone pushes the other team-mates so you have to work harder to get in the team.”
