Bernardo Silva feels alongside Manchester City there are four other clubs who are going to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
It had been a three pronged race so far but with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur making their entry to the top five the title race is expected to get hotter as the season progresses.
City surpassed Liverpool with a slender 1-0 win over Spurs and are currently leading the table courtesy to a superior goal difference. Pep Guardiola’s side broke the 100 points barrier this season and seem to e o their way to repeat the feat this season too as alongside Liverpool and Chelsea they are the only teams who are yet to lose a match in the top flight.
Silva ignored the capability of Manchester United who are sitting in a distant 8th place. He said, “I think it will be harder because last season nobody was expecting us to win as many games and to reach that level of points, so this season the teams know they have to do better to beat us.
“Of course it will be very hard, but we will work every game to get the three points and at the end of it try and celebrate winning one more Premier League.
“I think either Chelsea and Liverpool (are contenders), they are very strong, Arsenal as well. Even Tottenham, even though they lost, they’re still contenders.”Bernardo Silva
