8. Moussa Diaby – Bayer Leverkusen
Moussa Diaby has shown a great impact in Bundesliga. The 22-year-old become one of the standout attackers in the Bundesliga. He netted 16 goals and registered 11 assists across all competitions. We won’t be surprised if he finds a big club in Europe in the next 2 years. He made 32 appearances for Leverkusen in Bundesliga and scored 13 times.
7. Josko Gvardiol – RB Leipzig
Anyone who has followed the young player at Leipzig since he transferred from Dinamo Zagreb to the Red Bull Arena in 2021 is undoubtedly aware of his potential. He made his debut at left-back under Jesse Marsch, but it soon became clear that if he moved inside, he had all the makings of a global superstar. From that point on, there was no turning back.
The Die Roten Bullen’s 2021/22 season was not always straightforward, but Gvardiol continued to improve even after Marsch was succeeded by Domenico Tedesco. He played a key role in Leipzig’s turnaround season, which saw them end in the top four of the Bundesliga and win the DFB Cup, the first significant victory in the club’s existence.
6. Leroy Sane – Bayern Munich
The elusive winger helped Bayern capture the championship with 10 goals across all categories and double digit helpers in the Bundesliga.
Given that the new hire was recovering from the knee ligament injury he sustained in August 2019, that was a remarkable performance.
He made seven goals and eight assists in 2021–2022, and he contributed another 15 goals in the first half of 2022–203 under new Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann.
