Blackpool have sacked Manager Paul Imce within the last hour, following some pretty poor results for the Fylde Coast outfit.
Ince’s predicted sacking comes in the wake of poor results, and the recent transfer speculation surrounding his son, Thomas, who has been linked with a move away from the Tangerines recently.
Pool have slipped into the lower reaches of the Skybet Championship, and following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Barnsley, it now appears that Thomas may follow Father Paul out the Bloomfield Road exit door.
Hot property Ince, who signed for Blackpool in the summer of 2011, looks set to leave at the end of the season, with the Stockport native seeing his contract come to an end.
Ince has been courted by various Premiership clubs, including Swansea City, and Cardiff City, and even former club Liverpool.
Blackpool supporters became angry at the Ince pair, after Paul openly drove his son Thomas to London, to sort out a move to oil rich French giants AS Monaco.
Paul had slapped a £25 million price tag on his son, a fee which was laughed upon last season, before backtracking his comments, with Premier League clubs after Ince Junior.
As I wrote yesterday, Monaco are in pole position to sign the winger, with a lucrative package all but agreed.
