Swansea City have completed the signing of Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony for a club record fee.
The former Vitesse Arnhem player has put to pen to paper on a 4 year deal and will cost the Swans a reported £12 Million
Bony, 24, had been attracting interest for some time and finished last season with 31 goals in 30 games and picking up Dutch Player of the Year in the process.
Upon completion of his move Bony commented
“This move has been talked about for quite some time, so I am delighted it is all completed.
“Now it is important that I focus my mind on the challenge ahead because I hope to make the Swansea fans very happy.”
It is believed Swansea beat off competition from other clubs around Europe for Bony’s signature including Liverpool.
